JCU International students will enjoy a preferential rate at our privately operated hostels with a minimum contract period of 4 months (one semester). An advantage of this type of accommodation is the social aspect. You will be with other students of the same age and shared interests, and you can lead an independent lifestyle.

94 Student Hostel @ Upper Aljunied Road (www.94residences.com)

Estimated 8.40KM driving distance away from the University.  Located between Aljunied MRT (EW Line) & Serangoon MRT station (NE Line).  The hostel provides private bus for convenience of student during peak hour.

Facilities/Services includes : Basketball Court, Pool Table, Study/Discussion areas, Recreation lounge, Cooking area equipped with appliance for cooking facilities, 24-hour security surveillance with CCTV, Secure card access system, Wireless internet access, Laundry service and weekly room cleaning services.

Carlisle Hostel @ 50 Carlislie Road(www.katonghostel.com)

Estimated 7.98KM driving distance away from the University. Walking distance to Novena MRT (NS Line) and a direct public transport service to the University.

Facilities/Services includes : Basketball Court, Cooking area equipped with appliance for cooking facilities, 24-hour security surveillance with fingerprint system, Wireless internet access, Study Room, Pantry equipped with appliances, Laundry service and weekly room cleaning.

Singapore International Campus @ 1A Lutheran Road (www.sicampus.com.sg)

Estimated 8.62KM driving distance away from the University with a direct public transport service to the University. 

Facilities/Services includes : Mini Mart, Basketball and Badminton Court, BBQ Pit, Table Tennis, Pool Table, Small Library, Study Room, Gymnasium, Wireless Access, Pantry with Microwave, 24 hours staff on duty, Laundry Service, Alternate day room cleaning service.

The above fees are subjected to the government prevailing GST charges.

Minimum Contract Period : 4 months (one semester)

General Room Facilities: Fully air-conditioned room, Single/Double deck bed (with mattress & pillow), individual cupboard/wardrobe, study table and chair.

SERVICED APARTMENT

For those on a higher budget, a serviced apartment can be a good option for four (4) to eight (8) students living together with facility services provided.   Furnished like a regular home, serviced apartments have the additional convenience of house-keeping services such as cleaning.

HOUSING APARTMENTS

This accommodation is suitable for students whose hostel contracts are about to expire and who prefer private and government apartments.  We will assist by introducing appointed licensed property agents to source out the preferred accommodation option and arrange for viewing of units.

Guide to Average HDB Accommodation Rental (6 months to 1 year contract)

Students need to be prepared for the following payments to be made:

• One month’s rental as deposit- refundable at end of lease.
• 1st month’s rental.
• Stamp Duty Fee.
• ½ to 1 month’s rental - agent’s commission.

Temporary Accommodation

We can offer information on 2 different options for you to pre-arrange temporary accommodation prior to your arrival.

Option 1 : Hostel Staying (Daily room rate). Minimum of 7 days accommodation is required.

Please indicate your preferred hostel for temporary stay on Airport Pick-up & Accommodation Form.

Option 2 : Hotel Staying

We will provide the hotel list that near to our University for students and visitors. Please contact the hotel provider directly to check the availability, pricing and reservation. Please refer to hostel listing
