James Cook University is facing an exciting challenge in the next few years as we develop into a true Tri-City Tropical university.  We are engaged in writing the next chapter of history and it is a task for all of us over the next year or so.

Following the acquisition of the minority shareholding in JCU Singapore, we are moving to fully integrate our three major campuses - Cairns, Singapore and Townsville.

Instead of 'doing' international in various places, international becomes an integral dimension of JCU through these three campuses.  Instead of a dual-city university, JCU becomes a tri-city university, bringing Singapore, both city and campus, into the powerful an enduring aim of our University: to deliver a brighter future for life in the tropics worldwide.
