Rodney Gillett has a strong record of leadership and management of English language programs for a variety of institutions and organisations in a range of settings over the past twenty-five years. This has included experience in leading and managing English language preparatory and training programs in Australia, Korea, the Pacific, the Middle East, and more recently, Vietnam at RMIT.

The dissertation topic for his Doctorate was “Steering in the Same Direction: The Management and Governance of Providers of Pathway Programs”. He regularly presents at international conferences and regional events on academic governance and pathway program management.

Rod is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
