Biography
Dr. Shailey received her PhD in Computer Science from University of Delhi, where she also received scholarship for meritorious students from University Grants Commission, India. She has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and research in Singapore, Hong Kong and India. She has taught postgraduate and undergraduate students; subjects related to programming, data structures, software engineering and database systems.
Research Interests
Shailey’s primary research focus has been on requirements engineering for web applications which is also her PhD thesis topic. While her tenure at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, her research work was on big data analysis and education data mining wherein the she focussed on correlation mining for heterogeneous data. She has published many papers and book chapters in reputed journals, and conferences. Currently, her research interests include secure agile development, neural networks and software quality.
