Counselling and Wellbeing Office
From confidential one-to-one counselling (via Zoom or Face to Face) to mental health, motivational and self-improvement group workshops, our services are here to help, guide and support your university experience.
One on One Counselling
This free, confidential service for all enrolled students provided in a safe and supportive environment is for you. You might be facing difficulties, challenges or obstacles that you need share with someone.
Here are some examples of what students can gain from counselling:
- better communication and interpersonal skills
- improved self-acceptance and self-esteem
- enhanced expression and management of emotions
- increased confidence and decision-making skills
- ability to manage stress effectively
Counsellors can also provide you with relevant information and assist you to build the skills and resilience to manage a variety of issues, including:
- Low mood
- Stress
- Relationships
- Procrastination
- Loss and grief
Counselling Appointments are available via Zoom or Face-to-Face by securing an appointment. During the session, you can openly discuss concerns and challenges that could interfere with your studies and personal adjustment. Counselling can help you build strengths, improve wellbeing and achieve academic success.
Wellness Workshops
We also organize regular Wellness Workshops that students can attend via zoom. These workshops are collaborative, informative presentations dedicated on a selection of mental health and Wellness related themes.
All workshops are usually 60 minutes in length and all students can join by prior registration.

Wellness workshops are also available by request through the JCU Singapore Counselling and Wellbeing Office. You can also request a workshop for a specific group regarding a specific topic by dropping us an email at studentcounselling-singapore@jcu.edu.au. We can meet with you and your group to discuss further.
Location
The Counselling and Wellbeing Office is at Block D, Room – D1-14, near the New Student Hub and Canteen of our Campus.
Hours
Office Hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed from 12 to 1 p.m.). The office is closed during Public and University holidays.
Counselling appointments via zoom or face-to-face are available from Monday through Friday with hourly appointments from 9:00 am to 5:00 PM only. Kindly please book your preferred counselling session at least 3 days in advanced to allow the team to get back to you with the available slots and confirm the appointment via email.
