Nowadays, there seems to be greater public interest in vegetarianism, due to such secular reasons as health, environmental protection and reduction of cruelty to animals. The purpose of this panel discussion is to hear the views on vegetarianism and related topics of religions not commonly associated with vegetarianism. Our distinguished panel comprises representatives from the Baha’i, Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Zoroastrian faiths, who have kindly agreed to share their views, in the spirit of inter-religious harmony and understanding.
