JCU Success Workshop: Entrepreneurship

When: 16 November 2020, 10am to 12pm
Location:Online Webinar

Overview

Entrepreneurship is as old as humanity itself. In today’s world, large corporations in different industries define how we interact, transport and operate in our daily lives. Many of these large corporations started as a small firm. That is the true spirit of entrepreneurship. It is not about the size of your company when you start. It is about taking advantage by value-adding opportunities and providing solutions to existing problems in society.

This workshop introduces entrepreneurship from a historical perspective before acquainting you with entrepreneurship of the modern world that we live in today as well as some information about entrepreneurship for the future. Besides historical and contemporary perspectives on entrepreneurship as a practice and as a research field, the basics of new venture creation and business models will be discussed.
