Program: Reporting & Orientation

The main aim of Orientation Week is to help students prepare for study, finalise their enrolment and meet other students. It provides a great opportunity for students to share their experience and develop a sense of belonging.

Step 1: Reporting | 6 - 9 November

Reporting for International Students

Date: Monday, 6 November & Tuesday, 7 November
Time: 9am to 4pm
Venue: Rooms C2-13, C2-14 and C2-15

  • Bring your original documents, passport and embarkation card (customs white card)
  • Sign various forms
  • Collect JCU student ID card
  • Complete online satisfaction survey
  • Finger print registration
  • Receive an appointment card for ICA formality

Reporting for Local Students

You will need to:

  • Bring your NRIC, original graduation certificate and academic results transcripts
  • Register fingerprint for Biometric Attendance system
  • Sign various forms
  • Collect JCU student ID Card
  • Collect course fee receipt
  • Complete online satisfaction survey

Step 2: Orientation | 8 - 10 November

  • Learn the information about enrolment
  • Learn the important administrative procedures
  • Familiarization with campus facilities and services
  • Learn the importance of attendance on campus
  • Learn and be advised about student’s study plan and time table
  • Understand the laws and regulations in Singapore

Step 3: On-campus Medical Checkup | 17 November

(International students only)

Date: Friday, 17 November 2017
Time: 9am - 4:30pm
Venue: C1-07

  • Includes blood test and X-ray.
  • You can have breakfast on the day.
  • Students enrolled into Study Abroad (1 Trimester) program need not attend medical check-up session.

You have to:

  • Bring passport and appointment card
  • Be at assigned venue on the scheduled time

* Singaporeans, SPR, and Dependent pass holders are not required to attend the session.

Step 4: ICA Formality | 22 November

(International students only)

Date: Wednesday, 22 November 2017
Time: 9am - 12pm
Venue: C1-07

You are required to bring your passport and embarkation card.
External vendor will be available for photo-taking of passport sized photographs

Step 5: Student Pass Collection | 29 November

Date: Wednesday, 29 November 2017
Time: 3pm to 5pm
Venue: C1-07

You need to:

  • Bring passport
  • Collect Student Pass
  • Make a copy of the Student Pass
