Program: Reporting & Orientation

The main aim of Orientation Week is to help students prepare for study, finalise their enrolment and meet other students. It provides a great opportunity for students to share their experience and develop a sense of belonging.

Step 1: Reporting | 7 - 8 November

Reporting for International Students

Date: Monday, 7 November & Tuesday, 8 November
Time: 9am to 5pm
Venue: Rooms C2-13, C2-14 and C2-15

Reporting times will depend on which country or region you come from:

You will:

  • Need to bring passport and embarkation card (the white card stamped by customs upon entering Singapore), and other original document.
  • Sign letter of offer, contract and ICA forms
  • Register your finger print
  • Complete online satisfaction survey
  • Receive an appointment card for ICA formality
  • Receive your JCU Singapore student ID card

Reporting for Local Students

You will need to:

  • Bring your NRIC, original graduation certificate and academic results transcripts
  • Register fingerprint for Biometric Attendance system
  • Sign various forms
  • Collect JCU student ID Card
  • Collect course fee receipt
  • Complete online satisfaction survey

Step 2: Orientation | 9 - 21 November

You will learn the information about enrolment, important administrative procedures and familiarisation with campus facilities and services during the orientation.

  • Form teams with new students
  • Play games, have fun and make new friends
  • Lunch provided

Step 3: On-campus Medical Checkup | 16 November

(International students only)

Date: Wednesday, 16 November 2016
Time: 9am - 4:30pm
Venue: C2-15

  • You are required to do blood test and X-ray.
  • You can have breakfast on the day.
  • Students enrolled into Study Abroad (1 Trimester) program need not attend medical check-up session.

You have to:

  • Bring passport and appointment card
  • Be at assigned venue on the scheduled time

* Singaporeans, SPR, and Dependent pass holders are not required to attend the session.

Step 4: ICA Formality | 24 November

(International students only)

Date: Thursday, 24 November 2016
Time: 9am - 11:30am, 1pm - 2:30pm
Venue: C1-07

You are required to bring your passport and embarkation card.
External vendor will be available for photo-taking of passport sized photographs

Step 5: Student Pass Collection | 1 December

Date: Thursday, 1 December 2016
Time: 2pm to 5pm
Venue: C1-07

You need to:

  • Bring passport
  • Collect Student Pass
  • Make a copy of the Student Pass
