Biography
As a part of his doctoral research, Rupesh is investigating how human resource training for front-line service could be achieved through gamification in the hospitality industry. His previous research was in the implementation of Artificial Intelligence technologies in the hospitality service sector.
Previously he had worked on a few sociology research projects attached to non-government organisations and non-profit organisations in Sri Lanka. Also, he briefly worked in a Think-Tank which advocates for Climate Change and Wildlife protection.
During his 16 years of corporate work experience in multiple disciplines, Rupesh worked in leading IT and telecommunications companies. He predominantly worked in middle management and once in senior management and has a successful corporate career of leading teams and achieving results/targets within the budgets, including timelines.
