She is responsible in enhancing human resources (HR) capabilities across the public sector. Her prior role was Senior Director for Human Resource & Organisation Development at GAIN, managing HR and corporate administration globally. Her career spans quality engineering, manufacturing management, and Vice President of HR in the private sector with Tandon, Western Digital, Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies and Avago Technologies. In the public sector, she was a Divisional Director at the Ministry of Manpower. Her diverse background offers a unique leadership perspective across Asian, European and American cultures. Peck Kem is the first Asian CIPD Chartered Companion and was listed as one of the 100 most influential HR leaders from the Southeast Asia region. She was also named as one of Asia's Top 50 HR Leaders in 2024 by SpeakIn Asia. In addition, she currently serves as President of Singapore Human Resources Institute and President of the World Federation of People Management Associations. |
Ms Annie Lim (Panellist) Head of Human Resources, Lonza Biologics Council Member, Singapore Human Resources Institute Board Member, Cyber YouthTech Singapore Human Resources Advisory Board, Singapore Polytechnic Chairman, Keppel Bay RN, People Association Annie is a seasoned HR practitioner with over 25 years of HR experience across healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences and technology industries. She has helmed senior leadership roles at GSK, Danaher Corporation, Sanofi, Citrix, Hummingbird Bioscience across global and APAC regions. At Lonza Biologics, she spearheads human capital initiatives that champion diversity, drive high performing teams, and lead organizational change. Annie has lived and worked overseas in China and Australia, through her many senior leadership roles, she excels in driving strategic business decisions and providing leadership direction to enable purpose-driven growth. Annie holds a Bachelor’s degree in business marketing and dual Master’s degrees in counseling (Monash University) and Human Resource Development (The George Washington University). She is currently pursuing her doctorate, further deepening her research and contributions to the HR field. She is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC), an ACTA/CFP-certified trainer with Workforce Singapore, and holds prestigious professional accreditations including IHRP-SP, SHRM-SCP (US), and FCIPD (UK). Beyond her corporate leadership, Annie is a passionate advocate for community and industry advancement. She contributes her expertise pro bono on several boards, including the Singapore Polytechnic School of Business, Ambulance Wish Singapore, Singapore Human Resources Institute, Equal-Ark, and Cyber Youth Singapore. A committed grassroots leader, she actively champions diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), STEM education, and intergenerational workforce integration. Her outstanding contributions have been recognized with multiple accolades, including the Gold HR Excellence Award for Employee Advocacy and Brand Ambassador (2024), People Matters Top L&D Leader in Southeast Asia (2023), Monash University Excellence Award (2022), Singapore Polytechnic Service Award (2010), and most recently, the Good Service Award as a Grassroots Leader (2025), and the HR Icon Award by Economic Times HR World (SEA)(2025). ![]() | Dr Kim Lim Tan (Moderator) Senior Lecturer, Business, James Cook University Dr Tan Kim Lim is currently a senior lecturer at James Cook University (Singapore Campus). Kim Lim’s research seeks to create actionable interventions with impact to create sustainable and behavioural changes concerning the most pressing issues in organizations. His research interests lie primarily in contemporary issues such as on future of work, employee attitudes, and employee behaviours. Prior to teaching, Kim Lim spent more than 10 years in the public sector where his expertise lies in the full spectrum of HR work, doing operational HR, strategic HR and national-level HR policy work. Currently, Kim Lim sits on the editorial committee of different journals and he is also an accredited professional member of the Singapore Human Resource Institute and the Society of Industrial and Organisational Psychology. |
