Every year, hundreds of new graduates from the Singapore campus join the thousands of James Cook University alumni to create a brighter future for life in the tropics world-wide.
You may be aware of the current COVID-19 situation world-wide and its public health risks faced by everyone. In view of this, James Cook University, Singapore has made the difficult decision to postpone the graduation ceremonies scheduled in 2020 to a later date in 2021, when the situation allows us to have a large gathering.
This is not a decision we have come to lightly. Graduation ceremony is a big event for all our students to celebrate their hard work and success. We would like to emphasise that we are postponing the graduation ceremony. (Not Cancellation)
Meanwhile we are planning for graduates, families and friends, in the form of a pre - recorded online video, be produced for all 2020 Graduation Ceremonies. The video would not replace the opportunity for graduates to attend a ceremony at a future date, but to offer tangible public acknowledgement and a keepsake of their having graduated. We will email further details of the above plan at the earliest.
