Below are the upcoming ceremony details for all faculties and campuses. Make sure you submit your graduation application by the closing date.

If you graduate in absentia you cannot attend and graduate at any future graduation ceremony.
Students who complete their degree mid-year have the option to graduate in absentia or they may attend the next scheduled faculty graduation ceremony which may not be until the following year.
Students who opt to graduate at a ceremony will not receive their testamur until they graduate.
If proof of completion for the degree is required prior to the ceremony date, an official academic transcript indicating completion may be purchased or you may request for a Statement of Academic Completion.
Wearing academic dress at graduation ceremonies is compulsory.
Students with outstanding debts are not permitted to graduate.
If you have yet to receive the Approval Letter from James Cook University Australia upon submission of Online Graduation Application Form, please contact Student Services Office to enquire on the possibility of outstanding payments.
It is important that you have this area checked at least 1 month prior to the Graduation Ceremony.
In order to graduate after you have completed the requirements for your course you must complete the Online Graduation Application.
If you do not wish to attend a Graduation Ceremony you can have your award conferred in absentia by indicating in the form.
Your application will then be processed and following it's approval your degree will be conferred at the next scheduled University Council meeting, following its approval your certificate will be posted to you at the address you have nominated on the application form.
The University is unable to approve any student to graduate without a completed Online Graduation Application form.
