Closing Dates

Make sure you register your  graduation ceremony attendance (via eStudent) by the closing date

Understanding Graduation

If you graduate in absentia you cannot attend and graduate at any future graduation ceremony.

Students who opt to graduate at a ceremony will not receive their testamur until they graduate.

If proof of completion for the degree is required prior to the ceremony date, an official academic transcript indicating completion may be purchased or you may request for a Statement of Academic Completion.

Wearing academic dress at graduation ceremonies is compulsory.

Outstanding Payments

Students with outstanding debts are not permitted to graduate.

If you have yet to receive the Confirmation Letter from James Cook University Australia one week after the result release date of the relevant graduation period, please contact graduation-singapore@jcu.edu.au to enquire on the possibility of outstanding payments.

Register Graduation Ceremony Attendance Type via eStudent

You must register the attendance type via eStudent. The attendance types include “Attending” and “Not Attending”.

If you select “Not Attending”, you can collect your graduation documents in JCU Singapore Exams Office within one week from the graduation day. Please bring along your IC for verification purpose. You can authorise a person to collect your graduation documents on your behalf, please write to graduation-singapore@jcu.edu.au for the inquiry.

You can have graduation documents posted to your overseas address, please write to graduation-singapore@jcu.edu.au for the inquiry.
