Submission

We invite conceptual, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods papers exploring the impact of innovation-driven businesses on sustainability, with a focus on, but not limited to, the following themes:

  • Sustainability-Driven Business Models: Exploring innovative business models that prioritise environmental sustainability.
  • Sustainable Practices in Global Supply Chains: Examining how businesses can implement sustainable practices in global supply chains.
  • Innovation for Sustainable Resource Management: Examining the role of business innovation in addressing resource scarcity and environmental challenges.
  • Economic Growth and Sustainability: Investigating the balance between economic development and sustainable practices in Asia Pacific economies.
  • Economic Policies for Promoting Sustainable Innovation: Investigating how economic policies foster sustainable business innovations.
  • Green Financing for Sustainable Development: Exploring the role of green financing towards innovative projects on sustainability.
  • Carbon Trading in the Asia Pacific: Examining how carbon trading frameworks, initiatives, and participation support sustainable projects in this region.
  • Innovation in Technologies: Role of new technologies driving sustainability in Asia Pacific markets.
  • Sustainable Marketing Strategies for Businesses: Exploring how companies can integrate sustainability into their marketing campaigns to appeal to consumers.
  • Organisational Psychology and Leadership for Sustainable Business: Exploring how leadership drives sustainability initiatives.
  • Employees’ Perspective of Sustainability: Exploring how organisational behaviour influences employees’ perspective and involvement in sustainability practices.
  • Culture and Society: Examining how socio-cultural factors impact Sustainable futures and the Asia Pacific.
  • Creative Arts and Education: Examining how creative arts and education contribute to sustainable future and Asia Pacific.

Submission Guidelines

Key Information

  • All submissions can be in the form of an extended abstract/full paper Please submit your full paper or extended abstract by 30 June 2025 via Abstract Submission.
  • Preference will be given to full papers.
  • Full paper and presentation are needed for publication.
  • Extended abstract submissions are not required if full papers are submitted.
  • The authors can expect to be informed about outcomes two weeks after submission.
  • Submitting papers does not mean registration. Authors still have to register and make payment via the EventBrite Registration page.
  • Selected, excellent papers will be considered for publication in affiliated journals or an edited book. The authors will be informed by 30 September 2025. These papers must follow respective journal’s/book’s author guidelines and be subjected to additional peer review and acceptance by the journal/book editors.

Extended Abstract/Full paper submission (closing date: 30 June 2025)

  • Extended abstracts must not be longer than six (6) A-4 sized pages, excluding references.
  • Full paper must not be longer than 6,000 words, excluding references.
  • The article should be typed in Times New Roman 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, and justified alignment.
  • A cover page containing all author details, including email addresses and affiliations, must be included.
  • The presenting author’s name must be underlined.
  • Five keywords must be provided.
  • Any images, graphs, or tables should be inserted where they should be within the text.
  • All references are to be formatted according to APA 7th style.
  • The submitted work should be professionally edited.
  • Full paper submission is required for consideration of publication.

Presentation Guidelines

  • PowerPoint-based presentations are delivered following the structure of 1) Introduction, 2) Literature Review, 3) Methodology, 4) Findings, and 5) Concluding Discussion.
  • The presentation should be no longer than 15 minutes. It will be followed by questions/comments from the audience (10 minutes).
  • Presentation slides should be in  .ppt, .pptx or .pdf format.

SEIGOP 2025 Awards

  • Three (3) Emerald Best Paper Awards will be presented to the best papers.
  • Only full-paper submissions will be eligible for this award.
  • Recipients need to be present at the closing ceremony to receive the award.
