Sustainability Research Cluster aims to be a focal point to (a) promote JCUS research, (b) support executive education, (c) attract high calibre HDRs, and (d) engage with leading industry practitioners on sustainability on the international stage.
- First, the cluster will be a focus of research cooperation and communication between campuses and be to be a forerunner in research, teaching and practising sustainability in Singapore (E3)
- Second, the cluster aims to strengthen research relationships and collaboration within the JCU community and other Singaporean universities (C6), and with relevant government agencies and local organizations to promote greater exposure of JCU Singapore in education and research (B7).
- Third, by attracting like-minded researchers, the cluster aims to increase research culture and outputs by building HDR number at JCUS (C7) by providing an innovative, collaborative and social environment (D2) and improve the volume and quality of research outputs and research revenue for JCU Singapore Business School, so as to achieve a greater contribution to the research reputation of the university in Singapore (C9)
