The TFI brings together Aquaculture and Health Science & Wellbeing researchers to advance impactful, industry-related and interdisciplinary applied research.

Our staff attract external grants, contracts and consultancies, and publish cutting-edge findings in peer-reviewed journals as well as in high-quality books and book chapters.

We collaborate with colleagues here in Singapore and in the ASEAN region to help produce innovative solutions to the key issues to life in the tropics including food sustainability, biomedical sciences, public & mental health, marine ecology and tourism.

Our team also includes a number of technical research staff, adjuncts, and postgraduate candidates.
