James Cook University in Singapore has a dynamic alumni community, both in Singapore and in the region that we engage with on a regular basis. The JCU Singapore Alumni Association (JCUSAA) was formed in Singapore in 2015 to connect alumni members residing in Singapore. The association organises events and activities for the members to maintain contact and promote continued involvement. The Alumni Engagement Office of Singapore reports that JCU in Singapore has had a growing number of 9418 alumni since 2003. Most of them are in the age group 27–31. Whilst the University has a formal database for maintaining contact with alumni, it also pursues other avenues such as LinkedIn. These alumni are employed mainly in the banking and tech sectors, as well as in government roles.
