Employees’ mental health issues present significant challenges for organisations globally. Despite various support mechanisms, systemic stigmatisation of people with mental health conditions continues to persist. Professor Lena Wang will draw on her research and policy work over the past eight years, which focuses on the purposeful employment of people with lived experience of mental health. She will provide a broad overview of this research programme, which includes work conducted in both the mental health sector and other sectors in Australia, to promote broader understanding and adoption of the lived experience concept in management research and practice.
