[Student Events] IoT 3.0

Building on last trimester's LEGO-based IoT workshop, the iD8 academic group is introducing IoT 3.0, a competitive edition that puts participants' skills to the test. Teams will design, build, and program LEGO vehicles to take on a series of engineering challenges, including bridge traversal, speed racing, and terrain navigation. Each round tests a different aspect of IoT logic, sensor control, and mechanical design.
Points will be awarded for each challenge: 3 for first place, 2 for second, and 1 for third. The team with the highest total across all rounds will be crowned overall winner. Beyond the competition, IoT 3.0 aims to encourage teamwork, creativity, and hands-on learning in a fun, practical setting. Certificates of participation and achievement will be presented to recognize both effort and excellence.
