We increasingly use smart devices in our everyday lives, but do they know too much about us, and do they keep that information secure? In this public lecture, Dr Steve demonstrates how hacked smart devices can be used to steal your fingerprints!

James Cook University

Dr Steve has both research and industrial experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Cybersecurity. Steve’s current research interests focus on how to make cybersecurity easy, efficient and effective, aiming to create a safer, smarter and more environmentally friendly world.
