Meet the JCU Academics- Dr Emiel Eijdenberg

These webinar sessions will allow the potential students and partners a chance to listen to our Academics and to hear what our current students have to say about their learning journey in James Cook University in Singapore. At the end of the session, we allow a short Q&A session (via the messaging system in Zoom).


Entrepreneurial Creativity

If you’re interested in the spirited and fast-moving world of business, you’re probably looking for a well-rounded programme that will equip you with the necessary academic knowledge to exceed the demands of business, and the opportunity to see and experience business fundamentals in action while working on industry projects.

Dr Emiel Eijdenberg will share how the the Bachelor of Business* programme helps students understand project management skills as well as master critical thinking and problem solving, in order to address contemporary challenges and make a difference to the communities and societies around us.

Speaker Profile

Dr EmielDr. Emiel Eijdenberg
Senior Lecturer, Business

After obtaining his PhD degree in 2016, Dr. Eijdenberg worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany (2016 – 2019).  Dr. Eijdenberg’s research interests are about entrepreneurs(hip) in emerging countries. Dr. Eijdenberg is particularly interested in the personal attributes of entrepreneurs and how these attributes are related to the sustainable growth of their businesses. Dr. Eijdenberg’ s work has been presented at international management conferences such as AoM, ESU, EURAM, ICSB and RENT. See for Dr. Eijdenberg’s publications: Scholar Google profile.
