Calling all aspiring artists and creatives! James Cook University in Singapore is proud to present an exciting opportunity to showcase your talent and celebrate our 20th anniversary and the launch of JCU Cultural Connect

JCU Cultural Connect aims to celebrate creativity and diversity within our community. We invite our current students, staff and alumni to submit an entry to the Competition that encapsulates our 20 years of excellence in education in Singapore.

The theme for the competition is Celebrating Diversity. We encourage participants to interpret this theme in their own unique way. Whether you prefer to work with traditional media such as paint, pencils, or charcoal; or are more comfortable with digital tools; we welcome your submission in the form of paintings, drawings or digital art.

All entries should be within 60cm x 45cm and 90cm x 60cm

Digital art submissions should also observe the following requirements:

  • Minimum 300dpi resolution
  • Mode set to CMYK

Five winning entries will receive cash prizes of SGD$1,000 each. In addition, their art will be displayed on Campus and form part of the JCU’s Cultural Connect collection.

To participate, please download the Entry Form and submit it alongside your artwork. Entries close on 24 July 2023, 6pm. Winners will be announced in August 2023.
