Biography
Dr Liu Jingting (Cindy) holds a PhD in Economics from Nanyang Technological University and is currently a Senior Lecturer with James Cook University (Singapore Campus)
Her research spans international macroeconomics and international trade. Her recent work examines the intersection of international economics and emerging issues, including digital trade policy and investment, climate policy and firm dynamics, and foreign direct investment reconfiguration amid rising geopolitical tensions.
She co-edited Data Governance and the Digital Economy in Asia (Routledge) and has published in reputable international journals, including Economic Modelling and the Journal of International Money and Finance. She also serves as a reviewer for academic journals such as the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, The World Economy, and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade.
Prior to joining JCU, she was a Research Fellow at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and a lecturer in the MSc in Applied Economics programme at Nanyang Technological University.
