Biography
Dr. Kai Qin Chan is a social psychologist who studies how emotions, particularly disgust and fear, influence sensory perception, perception of food, and public health issues. He is also strongly interested in using psychological insights to solve real world social and behavioural problems. He founded and headed the department of psychology at Ashoka University, India, before joining James Cook University as Senior Lecturer in 2018.
