JCU Singapore Students Recognised by “Junior Nobel Prize”

The Undergraduate Awards (UA) has announced its 2015 Highly Commended Entrants, including 2 students from JCU Singapore.Cited as the ultimate champion of high-potential undergraduates, and often referred to as a “junior Nobel Prize”, The Undergraduate Awards is the world’s largest academic awards programme, recognising excellent research and original work across the sciences, humanities, business and creative arts.The Undergraduate Awards 2015 programme received 5,117 submissions from undergraduates in 255 universities across 39 countries. Highly Commended Entrants are those who were ranked in the top 10% of submissions.The Highly Commended Entrants from JCU Singapore are: Cheryl York May Yong and Paul Victor Patinadan, both for the Psychology category.

JCU Singapore has earned the distinction of being the first private education institution to attain an EduTrust Star quality mark from the Council for Private Education (CPE).The EduTrust Star is the highest level of quality assurance that can be awarded to a private education institution (PEI) by the CPE under the EduTrust Certification Scheme (EduTrust).JCU Singapore was awarded the EduTrust Star by the CPE on 13 April 2015.
