Biography
Brian has over 25 years of international tertiary education experience, including English language teaching and teacher training. He has previously held tertiary positions as a practicum supervisor at Edith Cowan University (Aust), lecturer at Curtin University (Aust), lecturer at Melbourne University (Aust) and most recently, English lecturer at SEAMEO-RELC, Singapore and Singapore Management University. He has taught English in Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Brunei. Brian established, managed and lectured in a Private Education Institution in a Singapore teacher training centre, as an accredited teacher trainer in Singapore. He has trained teachers in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, China and Myanmar.
Research Interests
Brian has completed preliminary studies in his Doctorate of Education at Murdoch University (Aust) and is professionally interested in the areas of second language acquisition, bilingual education, transformative pedagogy, content and language integrated learning and computer assisted language learning.
