Biography
Dr Jagdeep Kaur Sabharwal is an educational professional with special interest in Stress management and Mindfulness training. Prior to joining James Cook University, she worked for many years as a corporate trainer and adjunct lecturer. Her interest in fruitful social interactions and how people influence each other prompted her to pursue a Ph D in Social Psychology. Jagdeep also holds a Graduate Certificate of Education from James Cook University and has expertise in curriculum development and blended learning. She has extensive teaching experience in a wide range of psychology subjects in undergraduate courses.
Research Interests
Jagdeep’s research focuses on the social, relational and cultural influences on well-being; stress management and mindfulness; parenting practices; burnout; psycho-social gerontology and learning design.
