- Doctor of Philosophy (Tourism), Allameh Tabataba’i University, 2015 – 2019;
- Master of Arts (Tourism Management-Marketing), Allameh Tabataba’i University, 2010 – 2013;
- Bachelor of Arts (English Language and Literature), Yazd University, 2005-2009.
Biography
Dr. Zohre Mohammadi is currently a Research Fellow in Tourism at James Cook University, Singapore. She received her PhD in Tourism in 2019, MA in Tourism Management-Marketing in 2013 from Allameh Tabataba’i University, and BA in English Language and Literature in 2009. Prior to joining JCU she was a Visiting Lecturer at Allameh Tabataba’i University, Shiraz University, and Yazd Universities. She has worked with Professor Philip Pearce on writing tourism series book chapters and also on tourism research projects in Austria and Italy and held a mentoring appointment linked to MCI Innsbruck Austria. She has presented papers in the t-Forum Global Conference, Tourism Intelligence in Action and 6th Biennial ITSA Conference. She is a reviewer for Tourism Management Studies.
Research Interests
Tourist behaviour, especially travel benefits and motivations, tourism sustainability, marketing and new emerging markets especially children and family. In addition, she has interests in using innovative qualitative methods in conducting research.
