More than one billion people around the world speak English making it the most widely spoken language in the world. It has also become the Lingua Franca in international meetings and businesses. For these reasons, many countries have recognised the importance of English and have embarked on ambitious plans to improve their standards of English.

At JCU Singapore, we understand that for students to engage effectively in degree programs, they must attain a specified level of English. Hence we offer an English Language Preparation Program (ELPP) to students who need help with their English. Through this program, students will undergo an intensive English curriculum to help them attain the required standard to move on to their tertiary programs.



Besides the command of English language, JCU Singapore also provides the opportunity for students who do not meet our rigorous entry requirement to a Bachelor's degree to upgrade their skills through a pre-university entry program known as Foundation Program. We hope to provide an alternative pathway to tertiary education programs for students who are disadvantaged by their geographical location, family situation, education history or other circumstances.
