The study of information technology is concerned with the design and use of computer systems and networks. Our Computing and Networking major bridges both pure computer science and IT application areas. The Interactive Technologies & Game Design major aims to provide a pathway to employment for graduates with the technological and software engineering skills applicable to games design execution

JCU Singapore provides a well-equipped environment, including several state-of-the-art laboratories with specialist facilities for multimedia design and networking. In addition there are small group tutorials and hands-on practical sessions in the laboratories as a means of reinforcing learning.

Our Bachelor of Information Technology program is fully accredited by the Australian Computer Society at the 'Professional Level' (its highest level).

As an IT student, you will be entitled to memberships with two professional bodies: The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Singapore Computer Society (SCS).
