The Trumps is located in the Kembangan area. The nearest MRT station is the Kembangan MRT. The station is just next to the accommodation. To go the campus, students will need to take the train to Aljunied MRT, 3 stops later. From there, students can walk towards the campus by walking under the train tracks from Exit B towards Sims Place and through the blocks towards Sims Drive. On a rainy day, students can take a bus (Bus 137) at the bus stop opposite Aljunied MRT from Exit B on Aljunied Road. Alight at Block 45, Sims Drive, 2 stops later. From there, students can walk towards the campus. Both journeys will take about 30 minutes.

Access to The Trumps is by the main entrance. A guard is manning the entrance. CCTVs are located at various access points and common areas of the accommodation. There are a swimming pool and gym for the students to use. These are maintained by the service crew provided at The Trumps. Students can access their unit by taking the lift.

Every room is very spacious as it comes with a single size bed, study table, and a wardrobe. Xcel Apartments provides weekly housekeeping and new bedding sets. Fees to such services are included in the monthly rental.
