Counselling Office

Counselling Office

At James Cook University (Singapore Campus), the Counselling Office is committed to promoting and supporting student’s mental wellbeing.

We offer confidential individual counselling services and organise workshops covering topics commonly faced by students.

Our Counselling Office offers free and confidential counselling sessions to all enrolled students. We provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space for you to talk about anything that may be affecting your wellbeing, studies, or university life.

Counselling is not only for times of crisis. It can also help you gain clarity, build coping skills, and better understand yourself as you navigate academic and personal challenges.

What to expect

Counselling sessions are by appointment only and available in person or via Zoom from Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Your first session will be an intake session, where a counsellor will take time to understand your concerns and thereafter you will be matched with a counsellor who best supports your needs for subsequent counselling sessions.

Find us

The Counselling Office is located at Block D, Room D1-14, near the New Student Hub and Campus Canteen. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm (closed from 12.00pm to 1.00pm, and on Public and University holidays).
