Aquaculture Club advocates the awareness of sustainable aquaculture in Singapore by organising activities, workshops (e.g. aquaponics, automation technologies, fish keeping) and networking with local aquaculture agencies, institutions, fish farmers & related companies etc. to empower JCU Singapore students for various career opportunities. Aquaculture Club also serves as a platform for people of similar course and/or interests to bond with each other.
Banking and Finance Club aims to create a platform where students could be able to acquire additional knowledge on current financial developments. The club guides members to acquire Bloomberg Market Concept (BMC) certificate, through JCU Singapore’s Financial Lab. We also organize field trips to Bloomberg office, which gives a gist of their work culture. Seminars and workshops are conducted on various sections of banking and finance concepts, which bestows basic understandings to the members.
Marketing Club's vision is to become an agency for students to gain experiences in marketing industry. There are three missions created to achieve this vision. First, Marketing Club helps students gain real experience in the marketing world. Second, we provide environment for students to improve their soft skills. Finally, our club will enhance students’ academic knowledge.
Psychology Society welcomes students that are eager to work together to organize events that benefit JCU Singapore students interested in the field of Psychology. Non-Psychology majors are also welcomed!
Every trimester, Psychology Society holds events to introduce and ease Psychology freshmen into the JCU Singapore community. The Society also organizes events to encourage conversation and raise awareness on psychology-related issues like mental health. We also strive to provide students in JCU Singapore with opportunities to expand their learning beyond the classroom via events such as the Discourse Forum.
THEs Club stands for Tourism, Hospitality and Events Club. We are a family for everyone who is interested in Tourism, Hospitality and Event sectors. We focus on providing opportunities for students to exchange and broaden knowledge, practice and master skills, and get used to tourism, hospitality operations and environment. We organize and run hospitality and tourism events, visitings and trips, and academic and training workshops so students are well-prepared for their professional career.
The Wallstreet club creates networking and business opportunities for its members. We encourage and train our members to think and act outside the box. The club mainly focuses on building entrepreneurial skills. We also get industrial experts on board to give seminars and talks which would help students to gain insights into the current trends in the business domain. We also host events focused on networking, allowing students to connect with each other and industry experts.
We aim to bridge the gap between the university and various companies for students who are interested in joining the workforce post-graduation. For students who are interested in taking forward their vision and idea to create an organization, they can start their entrepreneurial journey by utilizing the various networking opportunities we provide and taking the support of our business workshops.
We are a group of Christian students from different backgrounds, countries and denominations. We believe that our time in university is more than just getting a degree but building a strong fellowship, growing in character, sharing lives and encouraging each other to step out to serve. iD8 is a platform for experienced students who are deeply interested to master or challenge their IT skills in JCU Singapore. We create ideas, which in turn, will be a fully working MVP. We aim to complete a project every semester by setting milestones each week. We meet and work in groups to achieve these milestones. We are a diverse club ranging from IT students to Business students making us able to create and explore ideas in multiple directions.
Volunteer club believes in the value volunteers bring in terms of building helpful and peaceful communities. Any events that need us, we will be there to help. By developing long-lasting relationships with other non-profit and charity organizations in our communities, we are able to provide meaningful personal and professional growth opportunities for our members through volunteering. JCU Yoga inspires our community to live empowered, creative, vibrant lives through the practices of yoga and meditation. We envision a world where each club member is able to bridge the gap between health and happiness. We would like each member of the club to have a place where they feel welcomed, understood and able to create a powerful yoga practice at whatever stage of life they are in.
Chinese Student Community aims to provide a social safety network for Chinese students studying in JCU Singapore. We are committed to provide Chinese International students a platform to interact and support each other. Our club plans to associate with other Chinese communities, organizations or societies in other universities to know more about Singapore and the lives among local Singapore Chinese.

Indian Cultural Club is a community dedicated to creating a sense of home away from home. We are here to provide support to fellow Indian students in JCU Singapore as well as celebrate our traditions and culture together.
We organize many fun events such as Games Day, Cultural Night, and bi-monthly meetings where students can join us in relaxing activities like Movie Night.

As an ice breaker, Myanmar Community club holds a BBQ Party at the start of each trimester for new students. We will also take this opportunity to recruit more Myanmar students into the club. This networking session normally helps in breaking the ice and students and members would not have any issues with making friends that would stay with them throughout their University lives.
Another event that we are hosting once per two trimesters is the Mingalar Par Event. In this event, we will showcase our traditional Burmese dance and offer a wide variety of traditional cuisine for everyone to try. Please feel free to join us!
Thai555 club revolves around gathering and uniting the Thai students of JCU Singapore; as well as introducing and teaching the Thai language and culture to our other fellow international students so that hopefully they will visit our home country and appreciate the essence of being a Thai citizen. We also welcome other nationalities who are interested in the Thai language and culture to join us.
Vietnamese Community preserves and develops Vietnamese heritage & culture by organizing various programs and activities. Besides that, we also function as an information center for all new Vietnamese and we hope to create strong network amongst JCU Singapore students where Vietnamese is an essential part. Finally, we aim to collaborate with other communities, clubs and the mainstream society around Singapore.
Dance Club is a place that JCU Singapore students are able to express and improve their dance skills. We welcome and believe in everyone’s capabilities and strive to bring the best out of them.
In Dance Club, we try to create an environment whereby all (members and non-members) could congregate through dance so that they can reduce the stresses of the campus life. The passion for dancing, as well as sharing campus life, helps to strengthen bonds amongst students. We will benefit all students physically and psychologically.
We also believe that Dance is not only an individual or group expression. But rather it is a cultural mirror which reflects the spirit, character and artistry of its time.
Badminton is one of the most widely played sport in Singapore. It is the fastest racquet sport in the world, with shuttlecock speeds reaching more than 200 miles per hour. Badminton gives you a full body workout improvising on your strength, endurance, agility, muscle power, quick reflexes and speed endurance. Badminton games can be played as singles, doubles, or mixed doubles.
We are trained by highly professional coaches. Enrol yourself into the Badminton Club and discover your undiscovered talents. Participate in tournaments and represent JCU Singapore.
Basketball Club is a platform for students from all around the world to interact and form friendships through basketball. Trainings are held at the campus outdoor basketball court every week. We are currently working towards forming a competitive team with our coach. This Star Team will represent JCU Singapore at competitions.
Football Club is nicknamed the "Black Panthers" for its ferocity on and off the pitch. Trainings are held at campus every Wednesday, 5pm – 7pm, with safe distancing due to the pandemic. Future plans: training to be conducted by a UEFA certified coach*; friendly matches with other universities; will be joining Tournament/Leagues.
JCUS Ultimate (Flying Disc) is a committed to growing a sporting culture and improving mental health within the student body. We allow active practice of the values of integrity and mutual respect, as integrated into the rules of the game of Ultimate. On a personal level, we give opportunities for our members to discover more about themselves, be responsible towards their development, and contributors to team culture.
