The Career Advisory Centre provides a dedicated set of career related services to our students to give them the advantage in today’s competitive employment market, and empower them to increase their employability.

We work closely with employers from across all industries to actively market our students to support their hiring needs.

We provide opportunities to our students to meet the employers through networking sessions, career talks and industry forums; for them to interact and create an excellent impression.

Our students are prepared before-hand through individual counselling and workshops covering topics such as resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, job hunting strategies, as well as other career related topics which help the students plan and manage their career goals.

The results of all these efforts are measured through the Graduate Employment Survey. In 2017, we have engaged an independent consultant, Kadence International to conduct the survey on our behalf. This demonstrate our commitment to provide students with accurate, reliable and unbiased information on the graduates’ employability.

However, the university does not offer job placement. All graduates undergo their own job search and at the end of the day, qualification and certification aside, it is your own confidence, personality and your presentation that will secures your career during the interview.
